The Challenge

The existing outdoor living space lacked appeal for hotel guests. Drainage issues caused constant moisture and prevented plant growth. The overall aesthetic was dated and didn’t reflect the hotel’s “Christmas All Year Long” brand.

The 3-Phase Process

1.

Design

Lucas Lagoons, known for their intricate designs, led the creative process. The design centered around the hotel’s brand and incorporated whimsical Christmas elements.

Earth-toned pavers complemented the hotel’s architecture, and strategically placed faux snow and sparkling white accent pavers created a winter wonderland aesthetic. We enhanced the Christmas theme by installing a giant fiber optic snowflakes that change color at night, fire pits, and walkways.

2.

Build

Morales Outdoor Living worked closely with Lucas Lagoons to ensure the project met their high standards. The team efficiently handled change orders while maintaining exceptional construction quality throughout the buildout period.

3.

Enjoy

The client and Lucas Lagoons were thrilled with the outcome of the first phase, the “Christmas Courtyard.” The space mirrored the renderings perfectly, creating a magical Christmas atmosphere for guests.

The Solution

Morales Outdoor Living’s ability to collaborate with leading designers and execute complex projects resulted in a transformed outdoor space that perfectly captures the client’s vision and enhances the hotel’s guest experience.
