Concrete. Custom and on trend, concrete counters can be cast into any shape and color. They need sealing and can develop character (some love the patina), and a good installer builds them to handle our climate.
The Ones to Be Careful With
- Marble. Beautiful, but it stains and etches easily, and the outdoors is unforgiving. We generally steer homeowners away from it for an outdoor kitchen.
