Paver & Stone Walkways

Walkways fall under our hardscape pricing, which starts around $15,000 to $20,000 for a foundation-level project and scales up with premium materials, length, and lighting. A simple, shorter walkway will land toward the lower end; we will scope your exact path and give you a real number.

Pavers are usually our first recommendation because they flex with ground movement instead of cracking like a poured slab, and individual units can be lifted and reset if something ever shifts. Natural stone and stamped concrete are also options depending on the look you want, but the same base-prep principles that keep a patio from heaving apply just as much to a walkway.

For any path used at night, low-voltage path lighting is one of the most worthwhile upgrades, both for safety on uneven ground and for how it makes the whole landscape look after dark. We run the wiring during the walkway build so the fixtures are clean and integrated rather than staked in later as an afterthought.

A walk-on-only path does not need quite the depth a driveway does, but it still needs a properly compacted, graded aggregate base; our clay and freeze-thaw cycles do not care whether it is a patio or a path. Skipping base prep on a walkway leads to the same heaving and settling problems you would see anywhere else.
