Why Pavers Over Concrete?
No Cracks, Ever
Interlocking pavers flex with ground movement. Unlike concrete slabs, they will not crack from freeze-thaw cycles, tree roots, or settling.
Instant Curb Appeal
A paver driveway is one of the most visible upgrades you can make. It signals quality the moment someone pulls up to your home.
Repairable & Renewable
If a section sinks or stains, we lift and re-level individual pavers. No jackhammers, no repouring, no mismatched patches. It is maintenance made simple.

Frequently Asked
Do paver driveways need a deeper base than a patio to handle vehicle weight?+
Yes, significantly deeper. A walk-on patio needs several inches of compacted aggregate base, while a driveway carrying vehicle loads needs a substantially thicker base built in compacted lifts to handle that weight without shifting. This is one of the most common corners cut by lower-priced installers, and it is exactly where driveways fail first.
How does a paver driveway compare in cost to a plain concrete driveway?+
Pavers generally cost more upfront than a poured concrete slab, but concrete is a single rigid slab that cracks along our clay movement and freeze-thaw cycles, while pavers flex with the ground and let you replace a single damaged unit instead of the whole driveway. Over the real lifespan of the surface, pavers usually work out to be the better value even with the higher initial cost.
How do paver driveways hold up to our freeze-thaw winters?+
Well, when the base is built correctly, because the individual pavers can shift slightly with ground movement rather than cracking the way a solid concrete slab does. The base depth and drainage underneath are what actually determine how a driveway performs through repeated freeze-thaw cycles, not the paver material itself.
Can pavers be installed over an existing concrete driveway?+
It depends on the condition of the existing slab. If it is sound and draining properly it can sometimes work, but concrete does not drain on its own, so water can get trapped under the pavers, and any existing cracks can telegraph up through the new surface. For a driveway carrying vehicle loads, removing the old slab and building a proper compacted base is usually the more durable choice, and we will assess your slab honestly before recommending either way.
