Reborn at Tennessee National
The old stamped concrete was cracked and tired, and an aging flagstone patio beside it had seen better days. We chipped all of it out to a blank slate, then rebuilt both patio levels in Unilock pavers for one clean, cohesive look, tied together with low walls, steps, and landings, and finished with landscape lighting. Built inside the Tennessee National community.

Scope of Work
The Challenge
The existing stamped concrete had cracked and aged badly, and a separate flagstone patio next to it looked just as worn. The two areas did not match, and moving between the upper and lower levels was not safe after dark.
What We Did
We chipped out all of the old concrete and pulled the flagstone to get back to a blank slate. Then we rebuilt both patio levels in Unilock Bristol Valley pavers for one uniform, cohesive look, framed by a double row of Basalt Copthorne pavers for contrast. Low walls, steps, and landings created a safe path between the two levels, and landscape lighting on the steps finished it off. Simple, but it completely transformed the space.
From Vision to Reality
Design
We planned one cohesive paver layout to unify both levels, choosing Unilock Bristol Valley for the field with a double Basalt Copthorne border for contrast, plus walls and steps to make the level change safe and intentional.
Build
We chipped out the old stamped concrete and flagstone, prepped a proper base, then laid the Bristol Valley pavers across both patios with the Copthorne border. We set the low walls, steps, and landings, and ran landscape lighting to the steps.
Enjoy
Two mismatched, tired patios became one clean, connected outdoor space, easy and safe to move between, and lit up at night. Simple yet effective, and a total transformation.
